Are your playsets safe?

Absolutely — that's the whole point of building it right. Every set is engineered to meet CPSC home-playground recommendations and ASTM F1148 standards: documented use zones, fall heights, and torqued hardware. We send the documentation with every order, but our real test is that we'd put any of these sets in our own backyards.

Why does it say 'Backordered — Contact for Ship Date'?

Demand has been higher than our current production schedule. We build everything from real, kiln-dried cedar and we'd rather be honest about timing than ship something we're not proud of. Reach out and we'll give you a real ship window for your model.

Question 3

How do I know which model fits my yard?

Each product page lists the playset's footprint and the recommended safety surface zone (a minimum 6-foot perimeter on all sides). If you're between sizes or working around trees, fences, or slope, our Custom Design service is free to start.

What's the difference between self-install and on-site install?

Accepted Answer

Self-install kits ship pre-cut, pre-drilled, color-coded, and labeled — most homeowners finish in a weekend with one helper. On-site install adds a two-person Johnson City crew who handles delivery, assembly, leveling, and ground anchoring in a single day. Pricing varies by model and travel.

Where do you install on-site?

We currently install cedar playsets and wooden swing sets throughout Northeast Tennessee — Johnson City, Kingsport, Bristol, Greeneville, Elizabethton, Jonesborough, and Erwin, plus surrounding areas in Washington, Sullivan, and Carter counties. Outside that radius, we'll quote travel.

Question 6

What kind of wood do you use, and what about maintenance?

100% kiln-dried Western Red Cedar — naturally rot- and insect-resistant, no pressure-treating chemicals near where kids play. We recommend a clear UV sealer every 2–3 years to keep the warm color; left untreated, it weathers to a soft silver-gray.

Question 7

What's your warranty?

Accepted Answer

10 years on all wood components, 5 years on hardware, 1 year on plastic slides and accessories. Self-install kits carry the same warranty as on-site installs. The point isn't the paperwork — it's that you'll still be watching kids play on it long after they outgrew the rest of their toys.
